The State Bank of Cross Plains is hiring a Senior IT System Administrator in Verona, WI! This position will maintain and support the Bank’s personal computer-based management information and communication systems and ensure the safety and security of the data and systems. 

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Bank hardware, software, critical systems, and related infrastructure
  • Configure and support Active Directory environment, Azure/O365, Server Hardware, Virtual environment, storage systems, e-mail systems, e-mail archival system, web filter,
  • Maintain, monitor, and upgrade network infrastructure including VMWare, backup systems, Citrix, switches, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft servers.
  • Configure and support VPN, firewall, and multifactor authentication systems
  • Configure and maintain VOIP systems
  • Monitor and maintain ethernet and internet connectivity
  • Perform patch management duties as per IT standards
  • Perform backups of critical network systems and data.
  • Maintain hardware and software inventory
  • Maintain and monitor critical system log reports and generated alerts daily, ensuring maximum security of internal networks.
  • Maintain user accounts and policies on the domain.
  • Maintain network cybersecurity systems.
  • Provide support as necessary for other business units for their software needs or evaluation process.
  • Provide help desk support for end user technical and system issues
  • Repair and troubleshoot hardware and software related issues.
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Configure and troubleshoot workstations, laptops, printers, network equipment and mobile devices per IT standards

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in information technology or similar field and/or 5-7 years previous work experience in a similar position
  • Previous work experience and/or knowledgeable in Active Directory environment, Azure/O365, Server Hardware, Virtual environment, storage systems
  • Previous experience and/or knowledge on upgrading and repairing personal computer equipment
  • Good comprehension of Local Area Networks & Wide Area Networks connectivity and communications
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and remain calm while working in a fast paced, driven environment
  • Professional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) in order to work with a diverse group of employees.
  • Demonstrated ability in exercising independent judgment and to work with little or no supervision
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to make good decisions.
