We are seeking an eager to learn, customer focused professional to join our Cross Plains Main office as a Deposit Operations Support Specialist!  This position provides courteous service to all customers and associates by answering and responding to all business banking deposit questions/inquiries, primarily over the phone.  This role will also perform correspondent bank activities relating to ACH, Wire Transfers, Settlements, etc. as well as monitor electronic bank activity.


  • Promote and maintain positive relations with all internal and external contacts, and customers. 
  • Answer customer calls relating to business banking deposit related inquiries including but not limited to Business online, Retail Online, Mobile apps, Telebank24, ACH Processing, Merchant Capture and Bill Payment.  Calls may include setting up the product for the customer, assisting the customer on use, technical support or trouble shooting, etc.
  • Support of the bill pay service, ACH files, etc. as performed by the customer.
  • Research and assist in problem solving all other customer issues/concerns as needed.
  • Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers for customer and bank needed through WireXchange, Fedline or FIRE, adhering strictly to the Wire Transfer Policies and Procedures
  • Process ACH and Cash Letter, inputting the information to send to the correspondent banks for further processing
  • Monitor messages received from Correspondent Banks throughout the day and perform activities as necessary to process the information, such as writing up general ledger tickets, typing wires, processing foreign collections etc.
  • Maintain balances in certain correspondent accounts as pre-determined
  • Work with others to ensure all entries to correspondent accounts are taken care of in a timely manner to avoid long outstanding items.


  • Associates degree in accounting, finance, computer science and/or similar distinction
  • One – two years previous work experience in operations/bookkeeping department, especially in account input and correspondent banking, as well as a very good understanding of a host system
  • Ability to work precisely with numbers and financial calculations
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, proficient typing/keyboarding skills and the ability and willingness to learn new programs and software
  • Professional interpersonal and communication skills (listening, verbal & written) in order to work with a diverse group of employees.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to make good decisions and exercise independent judgement
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent follow up skills

This position is a full time position with hours of 8am – 5pm Monday-Friday. In depth training will be provided.
