    We are seeking a flexible and positive professional to join our Dane County offices as a Personal Banker Float!  A Personal Banker Float is responsible for traveling to other office locations in the southern region to help provide backup coverage/support for the retail banking area, including customer support, personal banking and CSR responsibilities. This role will be responsible for developing and expanding customer relationships at the various office locations and work to provide new and existing customers with resources to serve their financial needs while increasing profitability for the bank.


    • Bankers are expected to achieve full banking relationships with customers. Therefore, being very familiar with ALL that SBCP has to offer is paramount to success in addition to maintaining expertise of all deposit and consumer loan products and services.
    • Process transactions such as cashing checks, account withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, etc. while properly balancing and maintaining a cash drawer.
    • Follow through with onboarding new customers/new accounts.
    • Promote and maintain positive relations with all internal and external contacts, customers and potential customers.
    • Meet established benchmarks for individual, office, and department.
    • Actively participate in sales, office and staff meetings.
    • Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.
    • Participates in community involvement/bank activities.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.


    • Associates Degree in a related field and/or 2 years equivalent work experience in a customer services/sales environment.   Previous banking experience preferred
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to be able to interact and communicate with a diverse group of clients.
    • Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to make good decisions
    • Flexibility with the ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment
    • Willingness and ability to participate in community functions where the office is involved
    • Ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner
    • Proven sales ability


    The hours for this role will be between the hours of 7:45 AM to 5:45 PM Monday through Friday and one Saturday a month, 7:45 AM to 12:15 PM. Flexibility in scheduling may be needed on occasion.
