    The State Bank of Cross Plains is hiring a VP Private Banking Relationship Officer in Dane County, WI!  This newly added position will act as a central relationship manager for all business lines for a select group of clientele.  This role will serve as the client’s personal advocate, being the main point of contact and liaison between the client and internal business partners to deliver an integrated, personalized suite of solutions to each client. This includes working with and across business lines including commercial lending, treasury management, personal banking and wealth management.


    • Acquires new clients by following the solution sales process and by actively soliciting referrals and developing other internal and external sources.
    • Business development focus as an individual producer and team member with responsibility for managing a substantial portfolio of affluent clients that includes loans, deposits and wealth related products and services. Provides concierge-level full service to a select group of high net worth and/or business client portfolio.
    • Responsible for generating, retaining and expanding lending, mortgage, investment and deposit relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Achieves and exceeds assigned goals and objectives with professionalism and skill.
    • Is the main point of contact for clients form prospecting to implementation to regular follow up to ensure all needs of the client are being met. Performs annual reviews for all prioritized customers.
    • Be an integral part of the team and make a positive contribution to the team’s and bank’s success.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned


    Ideal candidates will be relationship focused with the drive for success. In addition, successful candidates must also possess:

    • Bachelor's Degree and minimum of five to ten years of similar work experience in a Private Banking and/or Treasury Management Sales role
    • Ability to effectively manage a sales pipeline to achieve sales goals.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, other employees, senior management, Boards of Directors and regulators, both verbally and written
    • Knowledge of sales/CRM systems
    • Knowledge of Lending, Deposits, Treasury Management products/services and operations
    • Strong accounting/financial skills with the ability to work precisely with numbers and financial calculations
    • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and remain calm while working in a fast paced/deadline driven environment
