    We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Verona office as a Mortgage Processing Manager! This position is responsible for managing and overseeing the mortgage processing function to ensure all mortgage files are processed efficiently, accurately and within stated timeframes/deadlines while also meeting regulatory, secondary market and in-house guidelines/requirements.   The Mortgage Processing Manager will oversee all mortgage processing staff including training, development, coaching and day to day supervision.   Additionally, this role will be a working manager and will work the overflow volume within the mortgage processing area as needed.


    • Supervise Mortgage Processing staff while challenging them to look for opportunities to increase efficiencies and utilization of technology.
    • Ensure day to day workflow within area is completed appropriately and efficiently by associates
    • Review mortgage processor work as needed for accuracy and to identify potential learning opportunities.
    • Back up staff to process loans as needed or dictated by volume.
    • Mentor, train and coach Mortgage Processors in order for them to be successful in their roles.
    • Maintain and organize loan files per department procedures
    • Provide backup to the various responsibilities of the mortgage area such as: typing of Closing documents, prepping loans for disbursement, delivering to various investors, distributing daily rates, construction draws, etc.
    • Perform other duties as assigned or requested


    • Associates degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Real Estate and/or similar field of education and/or 5 years previous work experience in a mortgage processing function
    • Previous supervision/management/team lead experience
    • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to be able to interact and communicate with a diverse group of customers and associates
    • Strong working knowledge of various mortgage systems and MS Office Suite with the ability and willingness to learn new programs and software.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make good decisions
    • Excellent organizational skills, including ability to prioritize and remain calm while working in a fast-paced/deadline driven environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands in order to meet deadlines while remaining calm under pressure
    • Strong attention to detail with excellent follow up skills and the ability to proof own work as well as others.
    • Willing team player with the ability to put forth the extra effort necessary to make the office a successful operation including the willingness to put in extra time when needed and/or to attend required & recommended outside educational programs, seminars, etc.


    Hours for this position will Monday -Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility in scheduling may be needed on occasion.
