    We are seeking a self-motivated and team-oriented professional to join our Waunakee office as a Compliance & CRA Officer!   This position is responsible for the assistance in monitoring the effectiveness of the compliance program by performing various tasks to ensure the bank maintains a high level of compliance by staying current on regulatory issues and by informing staff of regulatory changes. This role will also assist the AVP-Compliance Officer and outside consultants and regulators to facilitate reviews and examinations.




    • Monitor the bank’s compliance-related procedures on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with regulations.
    • Work with the Compliance Committee to implement policies and procedures relative to regulatory changes
    • Review and update compliance related policies on an annual basis
    • Perform department monitoring reviews to assure departments remain compliant
    • Ensure that actual practices follow the established policy and procedures
    • Ensure consumer laws and regulations are being followed
    • Present monitoring review findings to AVP-Compliance Officer
    • Manage and maintain the bank’s CRA program
    • Chair the CRA Committee
    • Responsible for educating bank staff on CRA rules
    • Maintain a CRA file which depicts the bank’s performance as to community development activities, community development loans, donations, investments, and special CRA programs
    • Update CRA public file and CRA statement at all bank offices on at least an annual basis
    • Monitor the tracking of CRA small business and small farm loan activity
    • Assist with the development of employee compliance training programs
    • Trains new compliance personnel
    • Teaches instructor-led classes when needed



    • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar designation and/or three-five years equivalent work experience in a similar position required
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field preferred
    • Previous experience in banking or financial institution setting and/or compliance required
    • Strong knowledge of lending regulations and requirements
    • Previous experience managing the CRA program for a large bank preferred
    • Well-developed verbal/written communication skills and interpersonal skills to be able to interact and communicate with diverse groups of customers, employees, examiners, etc.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and accurately
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Demonstrated problem solving skills with the proven ability to exercise independent judgment in decision making
    • Capability to maintain confidentiality of customer information

    Hours for this position will Monday -Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility in scheduling may be needed on occasion.
