    We are seeking a detailed and self-motivated professional to join our Madison office as a Portfolio Manager/Trust Officer!  This position is responsible for managing the investment portfolios of clients for the Wealth Management Department.   This includes conducting compliance investment account reviews and working with other trust officers to meet client needs.   This position will serve on the Trust Investment Committee.


    • Manage client investment portfolios consistent with departmental and individual account guidelines
    • Work with other trust officers via preparation of investment review materials and participating in client or prospect meetings as needed
    • Develop and deepen relationships with centers of influence (internal and external)
    • Participate in financial planning process by meeting with clients and producing financial plans
    • Conduct compliance investment account reviews as a backup to Assistant Investment Portfolio Mgr
    • Prepare materials and reports for the Trust and Investment Committee and Board of Directors
    • Actively participate in Trust and Investment Committee meetings
    • Prepare proposals, presentations and other materials requested by trust officers and others
    • Participate in business development activities as needed by playing a supporting role with other trust officers and/or as opportunities present themselves.
    • Other duties as assigned


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics and/or similar field of education and a minimum of three years work experience in a similar environment
    • Attainment of, or progress towards, CFP, CIMA, and/or CFA designation(s) preferred
    • Ability to read and interpret complex trust instruments
    • Demonstrated ability in exercising independent judgment
    • Understand the liabilities associated with the bank acting as a fiduciary for individuals and entities
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) to be able to interact and communicate with a diverse group of clients.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to provide leadership
    • Must possess current knowledge of wealth management market and industry issues, regulations
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, proficient typing/keyboarding skills and the ability and willingness to learn new programs and software
    • Ability to meet deadlines in a face-paced production environment
    • Ability to maintain confidential customer information
    • Ability to read, write, understand and speak English clearly
    • Ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner

    This position will work out of Madison Office located at 455 S. Junction Road, Madison, WI 53719.  This is a full time, exempt position with typical business hours of 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday.
