    We are seeking a detailed and self-motivated professional to join our main office in Cross Plains as a Commercial Loan Closer!  This position is responsible for ensuring all documentation and contingencies are met prior to Commercial loan closings and that loan files are prepped for the loan closings.   This includes working with Commercial Lending Staff to collect all necessary documentation/contingencies and that all loans have been inputted accurately and reviewed appropriately for the loan closing.   This role will remain knowledgeable in determining proper documentation and providing excellent customer service to our internal and external customers.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Process and document loan transactions including commercial new and renewal loans, modifications, deferrals
    • Review approval request to ensure approval is within 120 days of loan closing and proper approval obtained
    • Re-verify that credit request has up to date information to determine proper loan documents required for loan based on loan product and entity documents, including but not limited to proper signers, address, collateral description, insurance
    • Work with Lender for collection of any outstanding loan approval contingencies
    • Review final appraisal/valuation and make adjustments to documentation in file for correct loan set up
    • Work with third party individuals as needed such as insurance agents, title companies and financials to obtain payoffs, when applicable

     

    Qualifications

    • Associates degree in Finance, Accounting, Business and/or similar field of education and/or 1 year previous work experience in lending, loan processing , loan closings, underwriting or similar work experience
    • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) in order to communicate and relate effectively with customers and associates
    • Good accounting/math skills with the ability to work precisely with numbers and financial calculations
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work on multiple priorities efficiently & accurately
    • Demonstrated ability in exercising independent judgment
    • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and to provide ownership over own work in order to get the job done

    This position is a full time position with hours of 8am – 5pm Monday-Friday.
