    We are seeking a customer driven and team-oriented professional to join our Madison office as a Trust Administrator! As a Trust Administrator, you will support our Wealth Management team, specifically our Trust Officers, by assisting the daily administration of accounts, serving as department receptionist and preparing materials and reports for the Trust Investment Committtee, Board of Directors and Trust Officers, and supporting the department's investment function.

    Responsibilities

    • Interacting with officers, new/existing clients, and attorneys to facilitate proper opening and funding of accounts
    • Maintaining and monitoring assigned officers’ retention calendars to ensure appropriate client contact including but not limited to setting appointments and responding to questions.
    • Preparing routine client account reviews for assigned officers
    • Preparing client correspondence and supplemental reports for statements as needed.
    • Responsible for routine administration of self-directed IRAs and Cash Management Accounts
    • Initiating, processing, and tracking the transfer of assets in and out of the department
    • Monitoring, calculating and corresponding with clients who have required minimum distributions to take from their IRA accounts each year
    • Assisting with administering and closing of estates
    • Serving as Departmental Receptionist
    • Closely working with the Seniors Trust Officer and Portfolio Managers regarding the purchases and sales of assets in the department. Handles all on-line trading through Matrix, Federated, Sorrento and certain other mutual fund companies for departmental accounts
    • Assisting with the allocation of individual bond interest, maturities, purchases and sales to accounts as specified by officers
    • Preparing materials for the Trust Investment Committee and Board of Directors
    • Performs other administrative duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Associates degree in Finance, Accounting, Business and/or similar field of education and/or 1-2 years previous work experience in a role requiring a high degree of accuracy
    • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) in order to communicate and relate effectively with clients, associates, vendors, etc.
    • Demonstrated ability to be a non-competitive team player
    • Strong analytical/critical thinking skills
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently & accurately as well as the ability to follow up on pending items in a timely fashion
    • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple/competing tasks and remain calm while working in a fast paced/deadline driven environment
    • Ability to put forth the extra effort necessary to make the office a successful operation including but not limited to working additional hours that may require evenings/weekends on occasion
    • Ability to maintain confidential customer information
