    We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our corporate office in Cross Plains as a Commercial Portfolio Manager! A Commercial Portfolio Manager is responsible for underwriting credits, monitoring and co-managing loan portfolios in concert with the Commercial Bankers, assisting the Commercial Bankers in the retention and expansion of existing client relationships, being knowledgeable of the business strategy and providing excellent customer service to our internal and external customers.  Ideal candidates will be relationship focused with the drive for success.


    • Associates degree in Finance, Accounting, Business and/or similar field of education and/or 3-5 years previous work experience in a lending environment
    • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) in order to communicate and relate effectively with customers and associates
    • Strong knowledge of cash flow, credit and collateral analysis
    • Good accounting/math skills with the ability to work precisely with numbers and financial calculations
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently & accurately
    • Demonstrated ability in exercising independent judgment
    • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and remain calm while working in a fast paced/deadline driven environment
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, proficient typing/keyboarding skills and the ability and willingness to learn new programs and software
    • Ability to meet deadlines in a face-paced production environment
    • Ability to maintain confidential customer information
    • Ability to read, write, understand and speak English clearly
    • Ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner


    • Previous work experience in commercial/mortgage loan processing and/or working with commercial/mortgage loan documents
    • Previous experience working in a lending environment, preferably in a financial institution setting
    • Thorough knowledge of non-borrowing products
