    We are seeking a relationship-oriented sales professional to join our Madison office as a VP-Treasury Management Sales Officer. This position will be responsible for generating fee income from new and prospective business customers needing treasury management solutions.  They will be responsible for managing and growing the treasury management client portfolio.  This position will be use proactive management of the treasury management portfolio to identify growth potential through cross-sell of treasury and other bank products.   This will be accomplished by research of competitive offerings, portfolio analysis, preparing presentations and performing account analysis, and conducting demonstrations and selling those solutions to the client; then collecting the appropriate documentation to support the implementation of that service.

    Responsibilities

    • Review, analyze and understand customer or prospects treasury management needs. Conduct demonstrations as needed. Complete professional presentations, proposals and accurate analysis designed to educate them of all appropriate treasury management solutions relevant to their business.
    • Maintain knowledge of all treasury management products and services to educate and sell services to customers/prospects.
    • Provide professional telephone support as needed to treasury management customers and prospects.
    • Achieve and exceed assigned goals and objectives with professionalism and skill. Present annual sales plan and perform regular pipeline review meetings with management.
    • Perform annual reviews for all prioritized customers.
    • Responsible for regular training of all bank line and support personnel to ensure that they have a thorough and consistent knowledge of holistic treasury offerings and process for sell and support customers.
    • Work with Deposit operations on troubleshooting treasury management customer inquiries, issues or initiation/transition of treasury services.
    • Understand the risk associated with all treasury management products and services and work with risk managers and lenders to ensure all risks are identified and mitigated.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Real Estate and/or similar field of education and 5-10 years previous work experience in a Treasury Management Sales role.
    • Ability to effectively manage a sales pipeline to manage to achievement of sales goals.
    • Effective interpersonal style with the ability to effectively interface with clients, other employees, senior management, Boards of Directors and regulators.
    • Knowledge of sales/CRM systems.
    • Thorough knowledge of banking products, services, policies, procedures and regulations.
    • Thorough knowledge of Treasury Management products/services and operations.
    • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) in order to communicate and relate effectively with customers and associates
    • Good accounting/math skills with the ability to work precisely with numbers and financial calculations
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently & accurately
    • Demonstrated ability in exercising independent judgment
    • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and remain calm while working in a fast paced/deadline driven environment.
