We are seeking an innovative leader to join our team as a Loan Servicing Manager at our Main location in Cross Plains. A Loan Servicing Manager is responsible for the overall review and supervision of the loan servicing function of the bank. This responsibility would involve the entire servicing function from the point of disbursement through loan maturity, payoff, and satisfaction.  Interrelated responsibilities include, but not limited to, supervision and training of personnel, audit and compliance review, delinquency monitoring and reporting, loss mitigation team participation, system maintenance, and preparation and monitoring of pertinent reports.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure day to day workflow within loan service area is completed appropriately and efficiently by associates.
  • Monitor compliance with loan policy and appropriate compliance regulations. Maintain accurate records pertaining to all credit bureau corrections and consumer credit complaints. Receive and review changes to mortgage servicing guidelines and procedures.
  • Act as a role model to staff through appropriate behaviors and professional demeanor.
  • Serve as a backup to Loan Services Department staff as needed.
  • Establish and update Loan Service Department policies and operating procedures that are consistent with overall loan policy and create an efficient department. Work within the department and outside the department to ensure processes and procedures are followed, maintained and updated as needed to ensure overall loan department efficiencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.
  • Stay current on all compliance regulations
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in loan servicing/loan operations required.
  • Previous management/supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to lead others effectively
  • Thorough working knowledge of loan servicing requirements for secondary market investors, private mortgage insurance companies, internal loan policy and compliance policy.
  • Firm comprehension of loan servicing guidelines, procedures, restrictions, reporting requirements, etc.
  • Familiarity with servicing software and electronic reporting processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in decision making
